The Inglewood Unified School District recently learned that Children of Promise Preparatory Academy (COPPA) sent a letter to parents claiming that IUSD’s reasons for denying the renewal of its charter were unfounded. While IUSD understands COPPA’s disappointment in the fact that their charter was not renewed, IUSD wishes to clarify several inaccuracies in their letter.

Please be informed that the LCAP Community Forum scheduled for March 10, 2020 at Morningside High School has been postponed.

The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25,2020 5:30-7:00 p.m.
at Inglewood High School.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) warned that the novel coronavirus will almost certainly spread in the United States and that schools should be prepared for a
possible pandemic.

Inglewood Unified School District is pleased to report that our crews are making substantial progress on the water main break at Morningside High School.

Teams from our District office, schools and volunteers will visit neighborhoods across Inglewood to share information about our schools during two Student Outreach Days on March 5 and 6 as a way of promoting enrollment in 2020-21.

Members from the Los Angeles Rams organization, including wide receiver Robert Woods, visited with students from Warren Lane Elementary and read the book “Dear Black Boy” by Martellus Bennett to students!

Morningside High School's Golden Path Robotics team is preparing for regional competition next month and students continue to work hard on their robot, The Unicorn!
