National Wear Red Day History
National Wear Red Day seeks to raise awareness about heart disease. This day encourages wearing the color red as a sign of solidarity against the fight against heart disease and stroke. It aims to generate awareness and initiate change.
National Wear Red Day was established in 2003 by the American Heart Association and the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute. It is observed annually on the first Friday of February.
