  VERY IMPORTANT - PASSIVE OPEN ENROLLMENT YEAR  
     
 
  • This is a passive open enrollment, which means that if you take no action, your current benefits selections and dependent coverage will roll over into the upcoming plan year, effective October 1, 2024. However, it is highly recommended that you log in to review your selections during open enrollment.
  • Eligible employees who waived coverage for the current plan year (2023/2024) must complete a new waiver with proof of coverage in the EASE portal for the upcoming plan year (2024/2025).
    • Waivers do not automatically roll over into the upcoming plan year.  
  • QUALIFYING EVENTS FOR CHANGES AFTER OPEN ENROLLMENT:
    • This is the only Open Enrollment period for the 2024/2025 health benefits plan year. You may only make changes to your medical, dental, or vision benefits after open enrollment if you experience a qualifying event (e.g. birth, adoption, marriage, divorce, etc.).
 
   

Effective September 21, 2024 —No further changes can be made for the upcoming plan year unless you experience a qualifying change in family status as defined by the IRS.
